The world’s leading packaging trade show, Luxepack in Monaco is in October, and this year will have a special focus on sustainability.
Some of the world’s leading brands are adopting sustainable concepts for their product lines, although the focus is still on secondary packaging.
Varden has now achieved performance barriers in its “Paperseal” papers that are as good as plastic, so the next horizon is sustainable primary packaging. Mark and Stuart are both attending Luxepack this year to spread the word and to pursue multiple partnership opportunities with partners in the Luxury packaging sector.
The luxury packaging sector has the drive and the profit margins to pursue Varden’s cutting edge technology, though Varden has the aim to roll this down into the mass market as quickly as possible.
