Varden launch a new Pharma line of packaging

Varden is proud to announce that the Paperseal line has hit a new level of performance that takes it into the performance levels needed for standard pharmaceutical products like Aspirin and Paracetamol. Today these packs are made from plastic and aluminium foil. The plastics used can be as many as 7 layers thick, because the plastics needed to give a high oxygen barrier or water vapour barrier are not able to be in contact with the medication. Paperseal completely avoids these problems. As a natural product it is completely food safe.
It delivers the performance required to allow for long shelf life, but is also mouldable into complex shapes so that primary and secondary packaging can be combined into elegant and consumer-friendly shapes. The first pharma products using Paperseal should be in market in early 2023.
